McAllister Industries produces many different items including leaf springs for small and large trucks, custom lifting and lowering springs, shackles, automotive parts, U-bolts, anchor bolts, C-springs, and many other various parts.  We also design and produce custom flat steel fabrications for automotive, industrial and agricultural applications.

We also produce many different products using round and square wire – hot and cold wound coil springs previously supplied by our Chamberlain Spring division.  We produce compression springs, extension springs and torsion springs, as well as many types of wire forms. We specialize in springs for automotive suspensions, as well as agricultural, industrial, aggregate, and snowplow applications. Some of the industries we supplied last year included logging, sawmill, dock levelers, mining, construction, vibrating conveyors, vibration control, tracked vehicles, farm equipment, oil valves, truck body, garbage container, and food processing.

We produce many GREEN parts as well. McAllister Industries introduced 4 high-powered induction furnaces in our production facility which use low cost hydro-electric power. The process is quick, efficient and economical, leaving a very low carbon footprint. One of the services we perform, and perhaps most proud of, is Heat Treating material for customers who are stuck.  It’s a great feeling to help a valued customer when they really need us.

Recently  we  had the opportunityto anneal some pieces for a local customer who usually drops off the material in his car.  This time the parts were too large for his vehicle, so we simply offered to send our truck to pick them up.  Good communication and relations with this customer got his material back to him, still warm, and ready for when he needed it.

Another customer had a large (5,000 lbs) unwieldy shaped fabrication that had to be stress relieved with some very tight temperature restrictions.  And he had to have it back TOMORROW. 

What could we do?  Another minor miracle was in order.  We shuffled a bunch of work around and rescheduled as necessary.  A couple of guys enjoyed a few hours of overtime and before you know it, the piece was ready in good time.  The customer was very happy and we were very happy to help him.

We were very surprised and elated to welcome ICE-ROAD Trucker Lisa Kelly to our booth last week at SEMA 2011.

Lisa was attending the show in Las Vegas, and stopped by to check out the latest TUFTRUCK coil kits, and to spend a few minutes chatting with JT, Michael and other guests.

We still remember the episodes where Lisa impressed everyone driving the large truck in India, forced to deal with many obstacles, heavy traffic, and the treacherous 1 lane cliff-side roads.
