McAllister Industries was formed recently when our two spring making operations joined forces to form one large
inclusive coil and leaf spring manufacturing plant. The plan was simple. We would combine the synergies of two highly trained workforces to form an extremely efficient and modern manufacturing unit, where efficiency, flexibility and quality are not mutually exclusive. Already there are dividends to be seen. Our productivity has been maintained and even improved with fewer
employees. As the economy improves, we have additional unused capacity which will be applied when needed.

Needless to say, there are other substantial cost savings when you amalgamate two companies under one roof. Basic running costs are reduced – like gas, electricity, building lease, taxes, other fees and last but not least – less bureaucracy. Our management team is now a lean machine helping McAllister Industries by guiding it upwards and onwards.

How does this benefit our valued customers? Simple! If we are manufacturing more efficiently with lower overhead costs, we
can sell more competitively. So, same quality, great service and helpful sales people along with our best prices. What’s not to love? Another benefit includes the need to deal with only one company when you are sourcing leaf and coil products – a very common scenario with common domestic Pickup trucks.

Quality is something which never goes out of style. We are proudly ISO9001:2008 certified. Along with that we are also aggressively pursuing environmentally green processing. Induction heating has already replaced the majority of our gas fed furnaces with earth friendly renewable hydro power.

The name McAllister is approaching its 100th anniversary in a couple of years so the name really means something to a lot of people. That’s why we chose to use it for our new company. Macspring and Chamberlain Spring will still co-exist as proud brand names for our quality products.

McAllister Spring, also known by our trademark "MACSPRING", began operations in 1913 as a manufacturer of automotive suspension leaf springs. Today, McAllister manufactures leaf springs, U-Bolts and associated parts for the OEM (Original Equipment) and aftermarket sectors of the transportation industry, along with a wide range of other spring products. Along with manufacturing OEM and replacement parts, Macspring also offers custom designed springs for increasing capacity or lifting or lowering vehicles. McAllister also provides time critical heat treating services to our local customer base.

Chamberlain Spring was founded by Wally Chamberlain in 1949. Chamberlain Spring designs and manufactures quality
hot wound and cold wound compression, extension, and torsion springs. We are a leading, high quality spring manufacturer
and supplier. Chamberlain offers complete engineering and prototyping services and is ISO 9001 Certified. Main coil customers are in the automotive, agricultural and industrial sectors. We form coils with material of all sizes up to 2-1/2” in diameter.
